Your trip sounds incredible, and its a brilliantly written blog. I’m in a car with Zoe, Andy and Lins on a long trip up to Highlander and they told me to have a read. Look forward to seeing where you go next, enjoy the beats and reggae and whatever surprises come along.

Don’t know if all this is exceeding your expectations, but it’s certainly exceeding ours!
Thinking of you often, and marking your progress on a map on the kitchen wall.
Now you are really stepping (pedalling) into the unknown!
    Love and best wishes.

Just caught up with your adventures – enjoyable reading as usual. Are you allowing yourself a smug smile on the Rohloff front? Seems a it disappointing to say the least – poor Taneli.

    Hey Dan,

Thanks so much for a great read (on a soggy bus home after a long day at work). Reminds me of my travelling (would have loved to do it on a bike) and you’re encouraging me to write up my diaries in a legible manner too (nearly 5 years later!).

Good luck for all the amazing adventures ahead!

Great to hear from your again. Fantastic pictures and a fascinating read. Thinking of you as you strike out alone again into the unknown. May you continue to meet with warm hospitality and make new friends along the way.

Really lovely entry. Again, I love your writing style. I’m really looking forward to hearing about the central Asian entries – I’ve been fascinated with the place for years. I’m guessing you couldn’t get a visa for Turkmenistan? Do you have a planned route? I’d love to know where else you plan to visit!

Dan, what a wonderful way you have with words – makes most compelling reading! I often read of people doing similar things to yourself but never before from a friend doing it. Perhaps a book is on the cards in the future? Keep up the good work and keep enjoying!
